He was the son of Don E. and Rita M. (Moenter) Patterson.
Surviving are three brothers: Alan E. (Evelyn), Cypress, TX, and John W. and Mark K. (Cindy), both Findlay; and two sisters: Donna J. Warnimont, Findlay, and Mary S. (Mark) Hausrath, McComb.
He was a 1958 graduate of Findlay High School and a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was devoted to friends and family alike, and loved giving of himself.
