Monica J. Cole, 17, of Blair, died Feb. 14, 1999, in an automobile accident south of Blair.

Services were Thursday Feb. 18, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Monica J. Cole was a senior at Blair High School. She also worked as a sales clerk at Pamida.

During her school career she participated for two years in journalism, working on her school's yearbook and newspaper.

A member of the student council, she participated for one year in her school's Pep Club, band, Spanish Club and Future Business Leaders of America.

She was a two-year member of the Drama Club and painted the set for a play.

Monica was a member of 4-H for one year, where she received two awards in photography at the Washington County Fair.

She is survived by her parents, Monte and Bette Cole of Blair, sisters, Caseina and Cora, both at home; grandmother, Elda Baker of Englewood, Calif; grandfather, James MacKenzie of Longmont, Colo.; and step-grandmother, Alice Cole of Porterville, Calif.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
