He served in the Vietnam Nam War and received two Purple Hearts and the Bronze Star.
He was a lifetime member of the Blair Veterans of Foreign Wars Post and was a past commander and past VFW district commander; he was district commander of the Military Order of Cooties and was a past member of the Blair Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Frank Chenaille, 46 of Herman died at St. Joseph Hospital in Omaha February 17, 1995 from injuries suffered in an auto accident February 16.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by two sons, Aaron of Arvada, Colorado and Adrian of Herman; a daughter Heidi (Bob) Streeks of Northglenn, Colorado; mother, Irene Chenaille of Herman and sisters: Annette (William) Frederick, Bennington, Nebraska; Agnes (Larry) Willis of Herman;Toni (Victor) McIntosh of Blair.
Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 21 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church with military graveside services in the Holy Cross Cemetery at Blair.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
