Eva May Jones Bloemer was born September 19, 1934 at Imogene, Iowa to George G., Sr. and Dorotha Thompson Jones.
She grew up in the Sidney, Iowa area graduating from Sidney High School in 1953.
She married Fred J. Bloemer in Omaha September 29, 1956. They were blessed with two sons and a daughter.
She was a homemaker throughout her life.
She was an active member of the St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair and a member of the Council of Catholic Women. She also was a member of the Hillside Extension Club and volunteer for the Washington County Food Pantry.
Eva May Bloemer, 56, of Blair, died at her home September 9, 1991.
She was preceded in death by her mother Dorotha.
Left with memories are her husband Fred; two sons, Michael and David and a daughter Sheri, all of Blair; six brothers and sisters, Jimmie Jones of Shenandoah, Iowa, Nellie Gray of Omaha, Betty Doiel of Perryton, Texas, Retha Wilson of Omaha, George G. Jones, Jr. of Gower, Missouri, Judy Smith of Sidney, Iowa; and her father George G. Jones, Sr. of Sidney.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 11 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. The Rosary will be said 7 p.m. Tuesday at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Galas officiating.
