Son of Fred & Mary Catherine (Hawthorne) Meyer.
WW II - US Army - Private, Ser#37266279 - 362nd Infantry, 91st Division - Private - Killed in action - Entered the US Army in Oct. 1942. Body was returned to US in Nov. 1948.

Funeral services for Pvt. Lawrence Everette Meyer, 23 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred E. Meyer of Glenwood community, were held last Sunday in the Fullerton
Methodist church and interment was made in the Fullerton cemetery.

Lawrence, a soldier in the U. S. Army, lost his life in Italy in July, 1944 by a sniper's bullet, following a battle. His body was recently returned from overseas for burial.
