Professional baseball player. Utility player, primarily third baseman and also pitched. Played in 1878 with the Chicago White Stockings for two seasons. In 1879, he went 15-10 in 26 games pitched. The next year he played with the Cleveland Blues where he went 1-1 four pitched along with his infield duties. In 1881, he played one season with the Troy Trojans and the next two years with the New York Gothams. He played his last four years with the American Association with the New York Metropolitans and the Kansas City Cowboys.
