The next year he played with the Cleveland Blues where he went 1-1 four pitched along with his infield duties. In 1881, he played one season with the Troy Trojans and the next two years with the New York Gothams. He played his last four years with the American Association with the New York Metropolitans and the Kansas City Cowboys.
