Mrs. Phyllis Bullins Wray, age 79, a resident of Trinity, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014.

She was born on September 21, 1934 in Rockingham County, NC to the late Davis Bullins and Lucy Manuel Bullins and had live in the Trinity area most of her life. She worked for Silver Knit Hosiery for 40 years and later for Hamrick's in Lexington for 8 years. Phyllis was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed planting flowers, and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death were her husband; Alson Wray, a sister; Elsie Stanley and her brother; Otis Bullins.

She is survived by her children; Debra Honeycutt of High Point and Steve Wray of Trinity, her granddaughter; Heather Fagan and her husband Mike of Thomasville, and her step great grandson; Caleb Fagan. Also surviving are her sister; Mary Ruth Wilkins of Madison and several nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Phyllis' life will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, with Pastor Roger Carmichael officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville. The family will receive friends on Sunday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the Doctors, Nurses and staff of CCU at High Point Regional Hospital, for their care and concern shown to Phyllis during her illness.
