BLAIR, Richard Leo "Dick", age 77 was born March 10, 1928, in Burlington, Vermont to Edward B. and Eunice M. Blair. Passed away January 4, 2006, at his home in Mojave. He served his county in the Navy during World War II and retied from NASA in 1990, after working in Aerospace for many companies over the years. Dick was a member of the Muroc Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities over the years. He is survived by two children, Houston and his wife Martha Blair of Lancaster, and Brenda and her husband Donald Shirley of Mojave. He leaves behind ten grandchildren, Aaron and his wife Aura, Derek and his wife Candee, and Amy Shirley, Rick and his wife Wendy, Bill and his wife Chelsea, and Becky Blair, Cassie and her husband Ruben Dedman, Tommy, Janna, and Sam Blair; three great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Jeremiah, and Joseph. He was preceded in death by his wife Fannie Blair. A Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Sunday, January 8, 2006, at Halley- Olsen-Murphy Memorial Chapel, Lancaster. Funeral Services will be held 11a.m., Monday January 9, 2006, at the Mojave Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3490 Susan Avenue, Mojave. Interment to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
