Rome, Oct 27 - Mrs. Elizabeth M. Stoddard, 57, widow of Edwn B. Stoddard, died yesterday at her home, 119 North Washington Street, after a long illness.
She was born in Mohawk 57 years ago last Sunday, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Barber, and married Mr. Stoddard in 1897. He passed away five years ago. Mrs. Stoddard was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.
Surviving are three children, Earl, Edna and Florence, Rome, two sisters, Mrs. William Brilbeck, Syracuse, Mrs. L. H. Cole, Cortland, and a brother, Harry Barber, Syracuse There are also two half sisters, Mrs. Howard Moores, and Mrs. Dennis Coleman, of Rome, and a half brother Fred Boulant of Rome. Three grandchildren also survive.
Funeral service will be held Friday at the late home. Interment to be made in Rathbunville Cemetery.
