Nasonville, April 12 — (Special) — Funeral services were conducted at the Nasonville Presbyterian church here Tuesday afternoon for Louis Rustad, 79, who died Saturday while being taken to the office of a physician at Granton for treatment.
The services were conducted by the Rev. W. M. Dawson and burial took place in the Nasonville cemetery. Pallbearers were Carl Renne, John Riedel, Leslie Gepner, Lindsey Clark, Vinton Nason and Walter Dohm. Four grandchildren, Bernice, Ilene and Edna Muir and Thelma Rustad took charge of the flowers.
Relatives from a distance who attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. Will Rinhart and Mr. and Mrs. Emil Hubing, Athens; and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Anderson, Stanley.
Mr. Rustad was born near Christiania, Norway, on Nov. 27, 1855, and came to this country at the age of 17, settling near Necedah, where he worked for a year before coming to Nasonville.
He was a resident of this community for 61 years, and was married here on June 22, 1883 to Miss Bertha Barth who, with two children, Maurice and Mrs. Calvin (Calpurnia) Muir, survives him. There are nine grandchildren.
