Robert R. Ross passed away in Naples, FL, on April 29, 2014.

He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Molly Butler Ross. They permanently relocated to Naples from Rochester, NY, in 2000.

Bob was born in Wilkes Barre, PA, on September 11, 1919, the son of Anne Mitchell and Oscar Ross. He was predeceased by his three siblings: William Ross, Betty Baiz, and Helen Miller.
He is survived by his two daughters, Katharine B. (Richard) Wilson and Anne R. (Garry) Geer; two grandchildren, Erica (Brian) Morgan and David (Dina) Wilson and six great-grandchildren, Ashleigh Turnbull, John Turnbull II, Emma Morgan, Sammy Morgan, Jack Wilson, and Max Wilson.

Bob graduated from the University of Virginia in 1942 with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. He was a member of Tau Beta Pi Honorary Engineering Fraternity.

He was employed at Eastman Kodak Company for his entire business career (40+ years). He retired in 1981 as an Assistant Vice President and Director of Compensation and Benefits for the company. In retirement, he served for several years as a consultant to the then Chase Lincoln Bank Trust Department in Rochester, NY.

He fully retired upon moving to the Moorings Park Retirement Community in Naples, FL, in 2000.
At Moorings Park, Bob was elected to the Residents Council and served as President of that organization for more than two years. Following his tenure as President, he became Chairman of the Council's Nominating Committee, a position he held for four years.

Bob was an avid golfer with memberships in Monroe Golf Club in Pittsford, NY, and Royal Poinciana Golf Club in Naples, FL. At Monroe Golf Club, he was made an honorary member after more than 55 years of membership.

He was an affiliate member of Third Presbyterian Church in Rochester, NY, and a full member of Moorings Presbyterian Church in Naples.
A Memorial Service will be held at Bower Chapel in Moorings Park, 120 Moorings Park Drive, Naples, FL 34105, on a date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Moorings Presbyterian Church Endowment Fund, 791 Harbour Drive, Nap
