Charles H. Wiegand Charles H. Wiegand, 77, died Monday at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Indianapolis. He was born Nov. 20, 1916, in Indianapolis. His parents were Oscar Wiegand and Mamie (Lucas) Wiegand. He was first married to Frances M. (Gostage) Wiegand. She preceded him in death. He then married Rebecca W. (Gostage) Wiegand. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Rebecca J. Dowden of Greenwood; two sons, Chuck R. Wiegand of Hancock County and John Wiegand of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. He was employed by Ford Motor Co. as a machine repairman for 25 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of Plainfield Masonic Lodge 653. A service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel in Indianapolis. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
