ABBEVILLE. Oct. 4 - Ludovic Landry, pioneer resident of Vermilion parish, died at his home in Delcambre Tuesday morning at 1:45 o'clock. He would have been 80 years old on October 25.
The funeral rites were conducted in the Catholic church in Delcambre this afternoon at 4:30 and burial was in the Catholic cemetery in Delcambre.
Surviving Mr. Landry are his widow, nee Laurence David; 11 children, including Fenelon of Delcambre, Mrs. Simon Rodrigues of Delcambre, Dr. P. O. Landry of Abbeville, Odey Landry of Port Arthur, Texas. Mrs. J. M .Thibodeaux of Delcambre, Antime Landry of Baton Rouge. Mrs. Edvar Leblanc of Delcambre. Mrs. Riley Leblanc of Morgan City, Ollie Landry, of Delcambre, Mrs. Avery Falgout of Delcambre. and Lieut. Nella Landry of the U. S. Nurse Corps In Italy; Two brothers. Dr. A. Landry and Fernand Landry of Delcambre.

Ludovic Landry, Vermilion Pioneer, Succumbs Tuesday
One of Vermilion's pioneer residents. Ludovic Landry, passed away Tuesday morning at 11:45 o'clock at his home in Delcambre. Mr. Landry would have been eighty years old the 25th of this month.
Last rites were held at the Delcambre Catholic Church Wednesday at 4:30 p. m. with interment in the Delcambre Catholic Cemetery.
Mr. Landry is survived by his widow nee Laurence David, five sons; Fenelon and Ollie, Delcambre, Dr. P. O. Landry, Abbeville, Odey, Port Arthur, Texas, and Antime, Baton Rouge; six daughters, Mrs. Simon Rodrigues, Mrs. J. M. Thibodeaux Mrs. Edvar LeBlanc, and Mrs. Avery Falgout, Delcambre, Mrs. Riley LeBlanc, Morgan City, and Lt. Nella Landry of the United States Nurse Corps, stationed in Italy; two brothers, Dr. A. Landry and Fernand Landry, Delcambre.
