According to research done by Tate Collins Delia McElroy is believed to be the daughter of Micajah McElroy and (first name unknown) Cooley.
The Greer-Collins Cemetery is located on the east side of Christmasville Road about 100 yards south of Oakfield Road. In 2004 the fenced cemetery was being maintained by an adjacent property owner unrelated to the people buried in the cemetery. David Donahue recorded Greer-Collins Cemetery August 25, 2004. An earlier record of the cemetery appears in Cemetery Records of Madison County, Tennessee, Volume II, North Half of the County (1998), p. 108. The person who recorded the cemetery is not listed.
