Bentley, Walter Quinton , Jr., of Christiansburg, passed from this life to his heavenly father on the morning of April 26, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter Bentley, Sr. and Stella Burton Bentley, a son, Terry Wayne Bentley, sisters, Betty Jane Parks, Dolly Marie Bentley, nephew, Rex Bentley, great niece, Tosha Bentley. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, best friend, caregiver, Betty Cupp Bentley, his children, Theresa and Forest Hinkley, Dan Bentley and Cindy Treadwell, Thomas and Mary Bentley, Brad and Marie Bentley, Cathy and Duck Whitlock, Tammi Sutphin and Ronnie Hamblin, Sonja and Craig Reed, his sister, Velva and Eddie Altizer, a nephew, Steve and Pam Bentley. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren, a loving mother-in-law and friend Catherine Cupp, a large extended family. Walter was a hard worker for many years with Montgomery County Schools. He was a man who loved God and his family very much. We would like to thank everybody at Carilion Clinic Hospice and all those who took such special care of our precious loved one in his last days. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 2:00pm in the Walton Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Pastor Lee Sarver, Brother Don Leonard and Brother Craig Reed officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00pm Monday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home 150 Country Club Dr. SW, Blacksburg.
