PI. Grove Girl, 10, Dies In Fall From House
PLEASANT GROVE - A little girl's curiosity led to her death here shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday, when Lisa Taylor, 10, was killed in a fall from the roof of a house under construction.
She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack A. Taylor, 315 N. 350 E. The mishap occurred at a home under construction about a block from her home. She fell a distance of nearly 12 feet, striking her head on a plank. She was pronounced dead on arrival at the American Fork Hospital of a brain concussion and other head injuries.
The child was reported to have climbed out of an opening in the partially-completed home and grasped a brick wall before she fell. She was playing with a friend, Trudy Hansen, 8, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Hansen, at the time.
She was born June 12, 1954 in American Fork, a daughter of Jack A. and Connie Bennett Taylor. She was a member of the American Fork Sixth LDS Ward.
