Joseph Arlen Clymer, died 1:56 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2005, at County Roads 200 East and 100 South in Kokomo, due to injuries suffered from an auto accident. He was born April 2, 1988, in Kokomo, a son of Timothy Arlen and Lisa (Justice) Clymer.

He was a student at Taylor High School, going into his junior year. He worked at the U.S. 31 South Burger King in Kokomo.

He was involved with marching band, pep band, concert band and the drum line at Taylor. He had gone to state with the school band in 2004 and they had just returned from playing in the Disney World Main Street Parade in Florida. He had marched in the Indianapolis 500 parade with the band for five years. He was also in his own band called "Currently Held Captive." He loved to play drums and had a love for music.
