Spouse: Josias Pedersen Helle; b. 12 March 1813 in Hellesleret, Tronjhem, Norway; christened 11 April 1813; d. in Goodhue County, Minnesota. Josias was a sailor until he married at age 28. He helped built the ship "Broderne" in which he came to America.
Anne & Josias' farm (Hellesleret) was a tenant farm. Because of flooding and erosion, the farm was abandoned. The family immigrated to Goodhue County Minnesota in 1858. FollowingJosias' death, in 1880, Anne came to Moe Township, Douglas County where daughter, Karen and husband Gunder Thomassen Winkjer homesteaded.
