Mrs. Elizabeth H. Evans, 82 years of age, of Murray (Utah), died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Esther Trane of West Jordan, with whom she had been visiting several days. Her death was caused by injuries received in a fall from the porch steps. Mrs. Evans came to Utah from England in 1862 and has made her home in and about Murray and South Cottonwood since that time. She was the widow of John Evans.

She is survived by the following sons and daughters: W. S. and John H. Evans of Blackfoot, Idaho; Thomas H. Evans and Mrs. James Wood of Murray; Mrs. Eliza H. Dansie of Lyman, Wyo., and Mrs. Esther Trane of West Jordan.

Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the Grant ward chapel. Bishop John Sharp will conduct the services. Interment will be in the Murray City Cemetery under the direction of the George A. Jenkins undertaking establishment.
