Herald Winfred Stogner, 76, died April 18, 2014 at home in Prescott surrounded by his family. He was born August 1, 1937 in Clarendon, TX to Cletus & Winnie (Ayers) Stogner.

Herald served in the Army National Guard for 6 years, attended the First Church of the Nazarene and loved tennis, bird watching, and reading – especially western books. He was extremely proud of his family and all that they have accomplished.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years Wanda Lee Stogner; his son Michael (Renee) Stogner; daughter Joy (Mark) Woodfill; grandchildren Cassandra (Mark), Matthew, Jason, Chad, and Alyssa; brothers Cliff (Marie) of Lubbock, TX and Ric (Terry) Wester of Amarillo, TX; and his sister Jeanette Green of El Paso, TX.

Visitation: 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday, April 28, 2014 at Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home 303 S. Cortez St. Prescott AZ 86303.
