Genoa, Sept. 9. - Milton John Corson, 72, died Saturday at 5 p. m. at Sycamore hospital.
Born on a farm northeast of Genoa, March 4, 1863, he was the son of J.R. and Sarah Corson. He was a lifelong resident of the farm until 6 years ago, when he moved to Genoa with his family. His marriage to the former Emma Judith Patterson was an event of Feb. 10, 1887.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Zada Todd; two sons, John, farmer near Genoa, and Maynard of Kansas City, Mo.; and a sister, Mrs. A. J. Williams of Denver, Colo. His wife died five years ago. A son, George, also preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the home on Genoa street, the Rev. W. H. Ake, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be made in Genoa cemetery.
