Corpus Christi - Eduarda P. Jiminez, "Tia", 89, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 1999 in a Corpus Christi nursing Home after a long illness. She was born in Beeville, Texas but had lived most of her life in Corpus Christi. She was a Sunday School youth teacher for Iglesia De Dios on Hiawatha St. in Corpus Christi for 30 years. Out of her Sunday School class five young men of which she was proud of became Pastors. From 1970 to 1994, she was an active devoted member at Christian Truimph Church on Bluntzer St., in Corpus Christi until she became ill.

Mrs. Jiminez was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Jiminez; three brothers: Donicio Piaz Sr., Ysa Paiz, Tomas Paiz; granddaughter, Asenath Jiminez. Survivors include one son, Ben (Virginia) Jiminez, Sr., of Corpus Christi, Texas; one daughter, Oralia J. (Doroteo) Sanchez; four grandchildren: Ben (Connie) Jiminez, Jr., Roy (Irma) Jiminez, Fred (Delia) Cortez, Norma (Danny) Hughes all of Corpus Christi, Texas; three great grandchildren: Amanda (Pablo) Martinez, Jennifer (J.D.) Pena, Brandon Cortez all of Corpus Christi, Texas; one great great grandson, Frankie Martinez, of Corpus Christi, Texas; two sisters, Elvira Alvarez, Virginia Jiminez both of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Visitations will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 1999 from 10 A.M. to 9 P.M., with an Evening Prayer Service at 7 P.M. at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 A.M. Wednesday, February 3, 1999 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Lupe Ysaguirre officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, 2731 Comanche St., Corpus Christi.

Pallbearers: Benjamin Jiminez, Sr., Ben Jiminez, Jr., Roy Jiminez, Fred Cortez, Brandon Cortez, Danny Hughes.
