Mrs. Julia Berry Zimmerman, 87 years old, died Wednesday of last week of a heart ailment.
Mrs. Zimmerman had complained of feeling ill Wednesday and was taken to a doctor's office in Lutesville by her son, Oscar. She was taken back to the home of neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Deck, where she passed away later in the morning.
She was a lifelong resident of this county. She was born near Marble Hill, a daughter of the late William and Cinthia Berry, and was one of fourteen children.
She was married to Andrew Zimmerman and they resided on a farm near Glen Allen. He passed away many years ago.
She was a member of the Methodist Church of Glen Allen.
She was a member of the Eastern Star of Marble Hill.
She is survived by two sons, Oscar and Berry of the home; one brother, John Berry; and two sisters, Mrs. Delia Whitener and Mrs. Carolyn Bailey of Quincy, Washington.
Funeral services were Friday at Baker Funeral Home in Lutesville. Rev. Fred Shrum conducted services and burial was in Glen Allen Cemetery.
