Enid graduated from UCLA in 1942 and later earned a MA in history, also from UCLA. She taught history and government for many years, primarily at George Washington High School in Los Angeles (her alma mater) and later at Granada Hills High School.
She retired in 1981 and spent much of her time as a volunteer at the Pacific Asia Museum and the Huntington Library in Pasadena where she moved after the 1994 Northridge earthquake destroyed her apartment.
She died on October 4 in Pasadena.
