Joan Ann Coleman, 68, of Berlin, passed on April 17, 2014 at the In Touch Hospice House. Born May 30, 1944 in Meyersdale, she is a daughter of the late George and Flora (Kendall) Horning. She is also preceded in death by her husband Junior P. Coleman in 2003; brothers Eugene and Ronald Horning; and sisters Phyllis Brant and Francis Brant. Joan is survived by her children Todd Pritts and wife Brenda, Terrill Pritts, Trevor Pritts and wife Cindy, all of Berlin, Tiffany Pritts of Lewistown, and Trista Pritts and fiance Glenn Gonzalez of Clearwater, FL; grandchildren Crystal, Austin, Justin, Allea, Dustin, and Gavin; great-grandchildren Alana, Leila, and Sawyer; and sisters Georgine Gardner of Berlin and Annette Rawley of Somerset. Joan had a great love of cats and was actively involved in Nardecchia, an organization that deals with cat-related issues. She also enjoyed cooking, going out to eat, and camping and traveling with Junior before his passing. She was a member of the Beachdale Church of the Brethren and attended the Berlin Alliance Church. A service will be held at 2 PM Saturday at the Beachdale Church of the Brethren with the family receiving friends from 1 to 2 PM, pastors Tim Vaughn and Sherman Berkey officiating. Interment at Beachdale cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to Nardecchia at 131 Damian Drive, Johnstown, PA 15905. Arrangements by MILLER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, SOMERSET.
