Virgil grew up in Kleberg, TX where he attended elementary school and attended Seagoville High School. Virgil worked in the construction business as a dry waller and a brick mason for most of his adult life. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was survived by daughters, Brandi Parker of Jonesboro, LA and Meisha Bynum of Seagoville, TX; brother, Jesse Bynum and wife, Bridget of Mabank, TX; sisters, Anna Wolters and Martha Reyna, both of Seagoville, TX; and grandchildren, Daija, Shawn, McKenzie, Jesse, Devin, Savanah and Diego.
