"Mrs. Bertha McKibben Dies in K. C. Hospital
Mrs. Bertha Quapaw KcKibben, 38 years old, daughter of the late Solomon Quapaw, died at 4:15 o'clock Wedensday afternoon at the Trinity Lutheran hospital at Kansas City, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at the home of Harve McKibben, Devil's Promenade, at 10:30 o'clock Saturday morning. The Rev, George Grievenkamp of the Catholic church will conduct the funeral and burial will be in Lincolnville cemetery under direction of the Mitchelson Undertaking company of Commerce.
Mrs. McKibben had been in ill health for several years and had previously undergone two operations at the Miami Baptist hospital. Mrs. McKibben and her relatives are well known throughout Ottawa county and Northeastern Oklahoma.
She is survived by her husband, Jake McKibben of Claremore; two daughters, Mrs, Josephine Dowel of Claremore and Susie McKibben of the home; two sisters, Mrs, Fred Beets and Mrs. Harve McKibben of the Devil's Promenade, and one brother, Jess Quapaw."
