Her husband, Jerry; a son, Bill Duckett of Arcadia, Florida; a daughter, Mona Bell of Bradenton, Florida; three stepdaughters, Sandi Bingert of Lillian, Alabama, Jamie Taylor of Pensacola, Florida, and Jerri Thompson of Port Charlotte, Florida, survive her.
Also surviving are brothers, Cecil Campfield, address unknown, and David Campfield of Centerview; two sisters, Betty M. Nichols of St. Charles and Ella Allen of Peculiar; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Madonna Schrantz, preceded Loretta in death on December 28, 2005, at the age of 42.
Loretta was raised in Palmyra and Hannibal. She was from a family of eight children.
She attended Eugene Field School and Hannibal High School. In mid-life, she moved to Florida to raise her children, and by her knowledge of the law and a lot of college hours, started her own business, Krause Bail Bonds. After suffering a stroke in January 2001, she was forced to retire and turned the business over to her son.
