Death of Mrs. E. A. Duchamp
Tuesday night at 5:30 o'clock Mrs. Eugene August Duchamp de Chastaigné, died at her home here at the age of 71 years, 8 months and 19 days.

Mrs. Duchamp had been in bad health for many yars and was several times at the pontof death and her family was always in a state [of] anxiety about her condition.

Mrs. Duchamp endured her long sufferings with the fortitude of a true christian, only complaining when her frail fram weadened by the ravages of disease could not smother the outside sign of suffering.

Mrs. Duchamp raised a large family of children, those now living are: David E., Joseph H., Mmes. Arthur Ozenne, Rudolphe Fusilier, Willie Stromer, T. E. Duchamp, and Miss Emilie.

Her funeral took place at four o'clock Wednesday evening and her remains were followed to the grave by a large concourse of relatives and friends.
