Dorothy L. Aber, age 97, of Sugarcreek, Venango County, PA, formerly of Tionesta, PA, died on Wednesday morning, April 4, 2018 at Sugar Creek Station in Sugarcreek.
She was born in Cochranton, PA, on July 5, 1920, daughter of the late Walter and Clara (Gheres) Crum. She married her late husband of 31 years, Frank M. Aber, in 1941. He preceded her in death in September of 1972. Dorothy was employed by the former Evenflo Crater in Tionesta until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Alvin, and Raymond Crum, and three sisters, Grace Hays, Florence Smith, and Irene Klipple.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
No public visitation is planned. All services held will be private. Burial will be alongside her husband in Coolspring Cemetery, Coolspring, Jefferson County, PA.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta.
