Mrs. Dorothy Pietzsch, 83, Burlington Rt. 3, died at Burlington hospital at 1:20 a.m. Friday morning shortly after she was admitted. She was born Jan 28, 1879, the daughter of Fred and Mary Wolf, in Germany. Nov. 16, 1899, she married Charles McDowell, who died in 1922. She married Louis Pietzsch in Burlington Feb. 12, 1923. He died in 1958. Mrs. Pietzsch was a member of the Church of the Open Bible. Survivors include, three sons; Milton McDowell of Denver, CO; Warren Pietzsch of Burlington, and Lawrence Pietzsch, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Clara Mae McCord and Mrs. Erma Andrew, both of Burlington; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Dean of Sperry and Mrs. Nellie French of Burlington; two brothers, Walter Wolf of Milwaukee, WI and Ed Wolf of Long Beach, CA; 10 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. A son, two sisters and a brother died previously. Services will be at the Church of the Open Bible, Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
