Revered Indianapolis spiritual and community leader, and founder of the Christ Temple church. At the time of his death was the Senior Bishop of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. In his honor, a segment of Fall Creek Drive, on which Christ Temple is located, has been designated "Bishop Garfield T. Haywood Memorial Way."
