MARGARET LEPINE

Mrs. Margaret LePine, 85, of 1620 Monroe St., Two Rivers, died shortly before noon Tuesday at Manitowoc County Hospital where she was a patient nine days.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 am Saturday at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home and at 10 am at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers, with a solemn requiem high Mass, the Rev. Clement LePine, of Ishpeming, Mich., a son, the celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Mrs. LePine, nee Margaret Dupuis, was born at Pound, Wis., July 18, 1880, daughter of the late Joseph and Celestine Beaudry LePine. She was married May 23, 1898 at Coleman to Joseph LePine. After their marriage they lived for a year at Pound, where her husband pursued the blacksmithing trade. Another year and a half was spent in Canada after which the family resided at Coleman for five years, coming to Two Rivers in 1916. In earlier years at Two Rivers, her husband operated a blacksmith shop on Monroe Street. He died July 15, 1954 at Two Rivers. She was a member of St. Luke Altar Society.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Raymond Laque of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, Mrs. William Koch of Two Rivers and Sister M. Regis of Altoona, Pa., Mrs. Charles Rank of Green Bay; five other sons, Louis, Francis and Edward of Milwaukee and Isidore and Eugene of Two Rivers; a sister, Mrs. Cora Laurent of Two Rivers; 23 grandchildren and 68 great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 pm Friday where the Rosary will be recited at 7:45 pm.
