I C Whaley, 67, retired, well known citizen, died yesterday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at his home at Heiskell Station. Earlier in life, Mr. Whaley was engaged in farming. Surviving are his widow, one son, Isham Whaley, five daughters, Mrs. E B Watkins, Knoxville, Mrs. Ella Wilson, Trentville, Mrs. W W Blair, Mascot, Mrs. W R Ezell, Heisell, Tenn. and Mrs. Joe Kanzig, Wellsville, Ok. Mr. Whaley was a member of the Heiskell Baptist Church and an influential man in his home community.
