"Elbert M. Dorman, 78, of 940 Cole Av., died Oct. 9 after a long illness. He was born in Sumner, Ill., was a resident of Akron for 60 years, and employed at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 37 years, retiring in 1962. He is survived by wife. Amy H.; daughters, Mrs. Betty Jane Moorehead, Mrs. Eleanor Humphrey (Holt); son, Robert; sister, Mrs. Dorothy Romesburg, all of Akron; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren. Services 1 p.m. Friday from the funeral home, the Rev. Bruce Rux officiating. Interment East Liberty Cemetery. Visitation 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday."
