Rita M. (Donahoe) Gorman of Dearborn, MI, formerly of Concord, NH., age 85, was the beloved wife of the late John C. Gorman. Devoted mother of John C. Gorman Jr. & his wife Karen, Robert F. Gorman & his wife Karen, Sarah M. Gorman-Brown & her husband Raymond. Grandmother of Katherine, Charles Gorman, & Dustin J. Brown.

She was the daughter of the late Frank B. & Mary Donohoe. Aunt of Peter Grogan & family of Andover, James Grogan & family of Framingham, Pete Peterson & his family of Acton, MA, Sister in law of the late Leonard Gorman & family of Southboro.

Graduate of the University of NH with an award from the National Honor Society. Dearborn Heights, MI Elementary School Teacher for 25 yrs. teaching thousands of children how to read. Member of the Fine Arts Committee, Book Club & played bridge. Volunteered to teach reading to those in need. Rita very active in her Catholic Church, played the piano & spoke french and played golf although she was very humble about her talents. A wonderful quote from her was "It's not what you do in life that matters, it's what you do for others."

A Funeral Mass was held in St. John the Evangelist Church, Wellesley Hills.
