Otis was born to William J and Martha (Bostwick) Wilson. He grew up in Western Massachusetts. He married Grace Esther Jelley daughter of Effa Alta (Robinson) and Fred Jelley.
He and Grace went to Arizona to do missionary work with the Native Americans for a time working in the Tucson area and in Northern Arizona with the Navajo. He brought his mother a dog from Arizona who was her companion for the remainder of her life. She requested that when she died that Pepi be put to sleep and buried with her, which was done.
Otis and Grace had 3 sons and several grand children who survive.
Otis is also survived by his baby brother and 3 sisters, nieces and nephews.
Otis died at home after a short illness with his family at his side.
