Death Takes Rev. Wacker
Illness Fatal to Retired Minister
Rev. Fredrich J. Wacker, retired minister of the German Congregational church, died yesterday afternoon at his home, 229 Eden street. He had been in failing health for the past three years. He was born in South Russia and was 58 years of age. The deceased came to the United States in 1893, first settling in Tyndall, South Dakota. He served as a minister for 35 years, his last church being at Hacken, North Dakota. He retired about two years ago and came to Lodi to make his home.
He was the husband of Mrs. Emilie Wacker, Lodi; father of Ervin Wacker, Billings, Montana; Mrs. Florence Reque, Manistique, Mich.; Miss Eleanor Wacker, Manistique, Mich.; Roland Wacker, McIntosh, S.D.; Miss Arley Jean Wacker, Lodi; brother of Mrs. Jacob Krausz, Plevna, Mont.; Mrs. Fred Bichler, Lodi; stepfather of Rev. William Ehertz, Mott., N.D.; Mrs. Erna Ehertz, Olivette, S.D.; Paul Ehertz, San Diego. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
