My dad "Big John" as he was affectionately called, had a big heart that matched his Big Frame. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who was always willing to help those in need. I remember my father saying "Never look down at anyone unless you're extending your hand to lift them up." He was a good natured person but if he caught someone mistreating children, the elderly or animals LOOK OUT. Yes, my father was my teacher, banker and the best friend and Dad I could ever have. I was blessed to grow up having both my parents in Brooklyn NY; wonderful memories. I love and miss him beyond words.
