Genella Sue McLemore
(January 17, 1935 - March 29, 2014)
Genella Sue McLemore, age 79, of Friendsville, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Maryville Health Care Center.
She was a longtime member of Lone Oak Baptist Church. She retired from William Blount High School after working in the cafeteria for many years before being stricken with Parkinson Disease.
Preceded in death by her loving husband, William Frank McLemore; son, Richard Dale McLemore and parents, Oscar and Eula Gentry Crowe.
Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Stanley and Teresa McLemore; brothers, Jimmy and Doris Crowe, Jackie and Shirley Crowe and her special sister, Doris Ann and Harold Hunt; grandchildren Mike and Carrie McLemore, Eric McLemore and Corey McLemore; great grandchildren, Leann and Amber McLemore and a dear friend, Grace Scott. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Maryville Health Care and Hospice for the care they provided our mother.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Tommy Self and Rev. Harold Hunt officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
