Mary Imogene Crump, 81, died Sept. 12, 2007, at her home. She was born Jan. 4, 1926, in Crosstown, the daughter of Eugene O. and Cora (Klobe) Kaempfe.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Jeanne Johnson and Deborah (William) Woodard, both of Festus; six sons, Donald (Dava) Crump of Ocala, Fla., Robert (Brenda) Crump of Festus, Paul (Connie) Crump of Largo, Fla., Jeff (Susan) Crump of St. Louis and Terry (Amy) Crump of Festus; her brother, Robert (Rita) Kaempfe of Festus; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard "Dode" Crump; her parents; her brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Mary Kaempfe; her niece, Barbara Sue Kaempfe; and two grandchildren.
Funeral is 10 a.m. Monday, Sept 17 from Vinyard Funeral Home, Festus, to Sacred Heart Church with the Rev. John Kerber officiating. Interment is in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis.
