Born 1874 in Kansas to William Dixon and Sarah Reeves Dixon. Was married to George Young Cassel on February 3, 1891 at Bodarc, Nebraska.

To this union 4 children were born.

Annie became ill with Typhoid Fever and her husband took her and the children around the country in covered wagon trying to find medical help for her (per letter written by Myrel to her nephew Glen Cassel. She died in Dayton, Wy and is buried there.
