He was born March 10, 1865, a native of England. He came to this country 52 years ago and has been a resident of Wood County most of this time. He had spent all his life farming. His wife preceded him in death three years ago. Thomas was the last of this generation. His brother, William Fletcher, passed away Jan.7, 1839.
Surviving are his nieces, Mrs. Alice Wood, Mrs. Lucy Gonyer, Mrs. Mary Chariton, all of Bowling Green; Mrs. Emma Self, of Union Hill; Mrs. Nellie Junkins of California; and nephews; Will Fletcher of Weston, Frank Fletcher of Toledo, Bert Fletcher of Tontogany, and Geo. Fletcher of Rudolph.
Funeral services will be held at Decks Funeral Home at 2:00 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Burial will be at Plain Church Cemetery. Rev. W. W. Conatien will be in charge.
