Mr. and Mrs. Anders were former residents of the Dodson community, going from there to Jackson Parish and later settling in Winnsboro.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Newton H. Anders; and three daughters.

She was survived by three sons, Edward D. "Ed" Anders of Oak Grove, Morgan H. Anders of Monroe, and William Franklin "Willie" Anders of Winnsboro; and three daughters, Annie M. Richardson of Winnsboro, Lillie Williams of Bastrop, and Dora Hammett of Dodson.
