MRS. ALLEN ABERCOMBIE DIES
Services for Carthage Woman, 34, Will Be Tomorrow


Mrs. Margaret Louella Abercombie,[*sic/see footnote] 34, wife of Allen Abercombie, died at 11:50 o'clock at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Claussen, 307 North Garrison avenue.
Mrs. Abercombie had been ill since last August 25 and the last two weeks her condition had been serious.
Mrs. Abercombie was born June 25, 1907 in Davenport, Iowa.
Surviving Mrs. Abercombie besides her husband and parents are a sister, Miss Thekla Claussen at home; a brother, Delmer H. Claussen of Rochester, Michigan; a foster sister, Miss Meta C. Young of Carthage, and three aunts, Mrs. Anna Hain of Kansas City, Mrs. Ella Eckstein of Davenport, Iowa and Mrs. J. P. Hanson of Coleridge, Nebraska.
She was a member of Faith Lutheran church.
Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Ulmer funeral home.
The Rev Richard Klann, pastor of Faith Lutheran church will be in charge. Burial will be in Park Cemetery.

*Footnote: The Carthage Press and her Missouri Death Certificate misspelled her name Abercombie, which is how it may be located, but correct spelling is Abercrombie.

Census 1940 reports her and her husband Allen living at 5351 Vernon in St. Louis, MO., as lodgers. He is employed as a laundry truck driver.
