Chester R. Hart

BUCYRUS - Chester R. Hart, 71, 1000 Hull Ave., died Tuesday at 11:55 a.m. in Community MedCenter, Marion after a three-week illness.

He retired six years ago as factory technical specialist the Swan Rubber Co. and had been engaged in farming parttime. He was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. Mr. Hart came to Bucyrus in 1928 from Columbus.

The son of Pearl E. and Laura (Kinser) Hart, he was in Fairfield County May 1, 1906. On March 31, 1934 he married the former Clara Lillian (Sally) Kocher, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Barbara Jo Richards, Dearborn Heights, Mich.; one grandchild and a half-brother, Harry Hart of Columbus. One brother is deceased.

Services on Saturday at 1 p.m., officiated by Rev. E. Parker West, will be held at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. Calling hours there will be observed Friday afternoon and evening. The family will receive visitors from 7-9 p.m. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
