Services for J. P. Neal, 66, of One East Creek Dr., were held at 3 p.m. today at Southland Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Herbert L. Pedersen officiating. Burial was in Southland Memorial Park.

Neal, who died Tuesday morning in a Dallas hospital after a lengthy illness, was born in Byer, Texas and was a long-time resident of Wichita Falls. He had been a Grand Prairie resident for the past two years and was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Lillie Neal; son, Lannie Neal of Livermore, Calif.; daughter, Karen Roach of Carrollton; seven grandchildren; brother, Doyle Neal of El Paso; sisters, Mrs. Marie Wheatley and Miss Euna Fae Smith, both of Wichita Falls.
