In 1922, he went to England with a small dance band and took up residency performing at the London Trocadero. He played at concert halls, on BBC Radio programs and made his debut as a soloist at the Holborn Empire in 1934. He also recorded a series of solo albums titled "Charlie Kunz Medleys".
