Mr. Parrott is survived by his son, Sammy Lee Parrott; mother, Edna C. Parrott; brother, Tommy Parrott; sister, Shirley Butler; several nieces and nephews; former wife, Ethel J. Parrott; and lifelong friends, Bill and Melanie Fain.
The family will receive friends 4-6 PM Friday with funeral service to follow at 6 PM in the Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Beck officiating.
