Services for Naomi Edith Chandler, 88, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Southwest Church of Christ, Floyd Kaiser will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mrs. Chandler died Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at the home of her daughter. She was born December 11, 1925 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Lloyd and Edith Miller Norvell. She attended New Hope school and graduated from Wynnewood High School.

She married David Chandler in 1945 at Fayetteville, NC. He preceded her in death in 1983. Mrs. Chandler was a seamstress for Blue Bell for 12 years, and later a sales clerk for T. G. & Y for many years. She was a member of Southwest Church of Christ. Mrs. Chandler travelled twice to Japan and once to Venezuela to visit grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, Royce Chandler and his wife Sandra of Ada, and Terry Chandler and his wife Sheila of Ada; a daughter, Lillian Gutierrez and her husband Corky of Ada; one brother, Clyde Norvell of Enid; a sister, Ramona Martin and her husband James of Wynnewood; her grandchildren, Leslie Chandler, Kari Gutierrez, Kris and Yuka Gutierrez, Kassie and Yas Harakawa, Heather and Jimmy Gould, Amber and Glen Jones, Brandon and Becky Chandler and Brittney and Chad Trentham; her great grandchildren, Colton Gould, Montana Gould, Betni Gould, Dakota Gould, Jaime Gould, Jacob Jones, Walker Chandler, Cordie Chandler, Karver Trentham, Azelyn Trentham, Koki Gutierrez and Eugene Harakawa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Lloyd Norvell, Jr.

Bearers will be Kari Gutierrez, Kris Gutierrez, Brandon Chandler, Jimmy Gould, Glen Jones, Chad Trentham and
